MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Amini directs the firm’s large loan platform, overseeing the origination, underwriting and transactional stages of the loan process.  Since joining TCG, Mr. Amini has helped grow the firm’s lending program and investor base.  Mr. Amini serves on TCG’s investment committee as well, helping shape the company’s investment strategy.  Mr. Amini is a former Vice President with CB Richard Ellis’ Consulting Practice, where he advised his clients on the economics and deal structuring of their commercial real estate transactions.  Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Amini was an analyst in the Real Estate Finance group at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he participated in the underwriting and securitization of large and conduit sized commercial loans.  Mr. Amini received his BS from NYU’s Stern School of Business and his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.

SIMON YAGHOUBI

MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Yaghoubi has been with TCG since its inception and is primarily responsible for overseeing the firm’s investments through loan underwriting and portfolio and asset management.  In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, Mr. Yaghoubi has been instrumental in raising capital from a diverse investor base ranging from high-net-worth investors to family offices.  Mr. Yaghoubi has been involved in the structuring, closing and servicing of over $750 million in loans.  Mr. Yaghoubi is a member of TCG’s investment committee and is responsible for directing the firm’s risk management and investment strategies.  Mr. Yaghoubi received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Since founding the company in 2010, Mr. Yaghoubi has been involved with every aspect of TCG’s growth and investment activities, including originating, structuring and managing real estate transactions in excess of $750 million.  With over twenty years in the real estate industry, Mr. Yaghoubi has been able to leverage his relationships in the real estate community to cultivate TCG′s lending platform.  Additionally, Mr. Yaghoubi sits on TCG’s investment committee, helping guide the firm towards meeting its investment objectives.  Mr. Yaghoubi graduated with a BBA in finance from Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business.
